I work in acrylic and mixed media on canvas, graphite in miniature, and linocuts.
My focus has been on acrylic painting since I began exhibiting in 2007.
A sampling of my miniature drawings, created with graphite or ink.
A selection of past commissioned pet portraiture work.
An ongoing collection of works painted outside.
My current, in-progress, collection of work is inspired by the idea of whimsical courage and making the impossible, possible.
More than just cute faces, it's my intention to connect the viewer with the essence of the animal; every living thing has a quiet strength that can inspire our lives, no matter how far away from the natural world we dwell.
This collection is a visual narrative inspired by the animal archetypes who appear in my nightly dreams.
I also enjoy carving and printing with linoleum. I create prints and also offer jewelry with original linocuts set in pendants.
An installation created in collaboration with author Richard Thomas for Flying House.
My oldest work on the site, this collection shows grit supporting a pastel-colored fragility.
Each pin is individually made in my studio and features a painting or a tiny drawing.
Photos of my paintings hand-pressed to canvas panels. They're art objects that I've been creating in my studio for more than 10 years. Highly collectible, I'm always creating new magnets from my work!
